Culture: Reading 100 Books in a Year

Hello all! One of my goals this year is to read 100 books. Why, you ask? Well, I work for a public library in West Virginia (where I met the Redding Brothers omg! haha) and this is our 100th year anniversary. The library system is issuing this challenge to all its patrons and staff members: read 100 books for our 100th year anniversary. The prize? A gold library card (which I am hoping will be much like the golden ticket for the Willy Wonka factory!)

I am going to do my very best to accomplish this goal. I go to college full time and work part time, but I am determined that I will do this.

So far I have read five books this month. I just have 95 to go! ^_^

  1. What a great idea. You could create a big book group online if you post the names of the books ahead of time for others.

Sarah, that is a good idea! The only problem is… I don’t know what I’m going to read! I work in a library so I just randomly grab books 90% of the time… and I read more than one at once.
Hmm… but I do like the idea of doing a book group online!
